Curiosity with a foundation

Every story
starts with
evidence.

MAKESTEAD is an independent educational media brand. We make complex ideas clear, while keeping the details that matter.

Each episode page brings the film, written explanation and references together. Our presenters and conceptual scenes may be AI-generated; they are not evidence of a real construction project.

How we build an explanation

We use the official project accounts, research papers and engineering references linked on each episode page. We distinguish documented events from proposed explanations and state the assumptions behind simplified models. AI-generated presenters and scenes help illustrate the story; they are not sources or independent experts.

When reporting a possible error, identify the episode and claim and include a supporting reference so it can be checked. Updated episode pages show their revision date.
